Robata: The Art of Japanese Grilling with Silla Bjerrum
Silla Bjerrum is a renowned sushi chef and restaurateur who has been involved with Japanese cuisine in the UK since the mid-nineties. Silla co-founded the UK's first sushi delivery service Feng Sushi back in 1999 and ran this business successfully for 15 years.
The word ‘robata’ translates as ‘fireside cooking’, and is a Japanese style of grilling food, consisting of delicious skewered morsels of fish, shellfish, meat and vegetables with home pickles and salads. Silla Bjerrum’s Robata introduces you to the art of this Japanese cuisine and teaches you how to cook robata style in your own home, whether on an authentic Robata grill, home barbecue or oven grill.

Silla will be giving a demo on Sunday the 16th of September at 3pm in the Marquee. Tickets are £8 and include tasters.
